Successful joint pilot project at the Rail Cargo Austria terminal in Wels
The basis for Rail Cargo Austria´s decision was the very successful completion of the first joint project for the terminal in Wels, Austria, in 2009. Simultaneously with the introduction of the new terminal operation software KLV2000, Symeo´s sensor technology was key to enable a fully automatic container position tracking solution for all incoming and outgoing containers on the intermodal terminal. By duplicating the proven solution, the benefits realized in faster and more efficient throughput on the pilot terminal will now be harvested on all remaining relevant terminals.
