Steel Mill: AG der Dillinger Hüttenwerke

Januar 2003: The steel mill Dillinger Hütte has decided for LPR as their system of choice for crane position measurement indoors and outdoors to track slabs and plates throughout the production area. LPR provides position coordinates to the warehouse management system, where each product is assigned its actual stoage coordinates.

In the course of the refurbishment of existing cranes, Symeo LPR has been installed meanwhile (2008) on more than 40 cranes.
