LPR-2D
The product line consists of
- base stations
- transponders
- antennas
- monitoring and visualisation software Symeo MAP
LPR measures the distances between moving objects and the fixed reference marks, the transponders. Either the base station on the moving object or a remote processing unit (PC or transponder with add. processing unit) can thus compute the position of a tracked object. With a double antenna set-up on the moving object, its orientation (angle β) in the chosen coordinates system can be determined as well.

LPR-2D/D-GPS
For outdoor applications with good GPS satellite reception and a necessary accuracy of about 1m only, the Symeo D-GPS solution is the cost effective means for 2D position measurement. The combined LPR/D-GPS receiver allows using LPR transponders in shielded and indoor areas, while taking GPS satellites as reference if available.

Symeo MAP
MAP is the software package for visualizing and monitoring LPR systems. The movement of a single base station and the status of the entire system is available at a click.

MAP requires an external PC (Win XP or Vista), that can access the LPR base station via a TCP/IP connection. MAP can connect to any base station to display the current position and the quality of the position measurement.
