Application Position Detection
Reliable radar sensor technology for accurate position determination.
The cost-effective Symeo radar sensor solutions provide precise and reliable position detection in a wide range of automated and semi-automated processes. They deliver real-time measurement data even under the most challenging conditions. Companies in a variety of industries benefit from these solutions as they provide a solid foundation for efficient and frictionless operations.
Examples of applications where Symeo radar sensors can be used include passenger boarding bridges on the apron of an airport, storage of containers in terminal warehouses, positioning of cranes, crane trolleys and crane hooks, and rail-bound vehicles, as well as to accurately determine the storage position of slabs in the slab yard.
Symeo radar sensors ensure highly accurate, contactless position detection both indoors and outdoors. They are insensitive to heavy precipitation, fog, smoke, pollution, noise, wind, vibration or sunlight and can perform precise measurements under these conditions without being compromised in their measurement accuracy.
The Symeo Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) use patented Symeo LPR radar technology. The frequency of the local positioning radar systems is in the license-free ISM band. The simultaneous parallel operation of radio data networks (for example WiFi) is possible without restrictions.
All Symeo positioning products have an extremely robust design, are easy to install and can be quickly commissioned and configured via a modern WebUI.
