Symeo offers 1D position detection systems and 2D position detection systems for any type of equipment deployed in container handling operations:

Symeo products feature a high degree of availability, are maintenance-free and operate around-the-clock. Even in difficult-to-access environments such as under container bridge cranes, in narrow container aisles or in container transfer areas, Symeo systems ensure that the CHE (container handling equipment) position and angle can be reliably detected.

For these solutions, we rely on Symeo SensorFusion software, based on state-of-the-art GNSS and LPR® positioning systems. Supplementary information such as load change and vehicle telemetry data can also be recorded and transmitted to the terminal's IT system using a variety of methods that includes WiFi, mobile radio, wireless modem and the LPR® wireless channel. Symeo systems are manufacturer-independent and can be used right out of the box with a wide range of well-known terminal operating systems (TOS).

Our maintenance-free LPR®-1D radar sensors enable precise, long-range distance measurements, even outdoors and in environments where conventional sensors such as encoders or lasers are unreliable, costly and high-maintenance.

All Symeo systems are designed to meet the stringent demands of container terminal operations. That means they are robust, easy-to-install and maintenance-free.
