At booth 4C67, we will showcase solutions that provide reliable data for safeguarding, automation, and digitalization of material flow processes.Highlight: LPR®-SAFE With LPR®-SAFE, we present a system for functional safety applications. The solution enables safe distance measurement based on redundant radar sensors. Their measurement values are plausibility-checked in a function block certified to EN ISO 13849 PLd, implemented on a failsafe Siemens PLC. Manufacturers can therefore rely on a certified solution when developing functionally safe hoists. This reduces development effort and simplifies the safety-related verification within the approval process.Our Partner The partnership with ABF has existed since 2010 and originated from a joint large-scale project for a steel plant in Brazil. ABF’s use of Symeo sensors featuring the patented LPR technology (Local Positioning Radar) clearly demonstrates the potential of industrial radar applications, particularly in demanding industrial environments.
