Flexible solutions for collision avoidance

Reliably avoiding collisions requires distances and positions to be determined continuously. Symeo offers solutions for a number of applications based on its radio-based LPR sensors:

  • Real-time distance measurements with up to ± 5 mm accuracy can be used to control a warning system such as a traffic light.
  • A pair of sensors precisely detect distances and relative velocities, enabling warnings to be issued at predefined limit values, for example via optional relays.
  • The Symeo Collision Control Center (CCC) modular assistance and management system allows easy parameterization to generate warning and stop signals and can be accessed via a browser-based interface. The software was specially developed to avoid cranes and objects colliding within the crane area zone.
